TPSS Micro-Enterprise Credential Presentations
Date and Time
Thursday Nov 12, 2026
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM CST
35 VOLUNTEERS. 100+ STUDENTS. ONE BIG DAY OF INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE WORKFORCE.
The Tangipahoa Chamber and the Southeastern College of Business are once again partnering with the Tangipahoa Parish School System (TPSS) to help more than 100 high school students across our parish complete their Micro-Enterprise Credential student presentations on Thursday, November 12, from 8:00 - 10:00 am at the Southeastern Student Union Grand Ballroom. And we need 35 business and community volunteers to make it happen!
Our past Chamber volunteers tell us again and again how rewarding this experience is for them. Listening to their presentations and providing feedback that can help them grow in confidence and prepare for the business world is a great way to support our TPSS.
Sign up and recruit co-workers and fellow business leaders to spend two hours with our students. You may walk in thinking you are there to give back, but we have a feeling you will walk out feeling like you received something, too.
Let’s show our students that our business community is in their corner.
