Chamber non-profits are invited to join us this Friday, April 2nd for our March Foundation Friday. Susan Bonnett Bourgeois, President and CEO of the Northshore Community Foundation will lead the 8:30 – 9:30 am Round Table. The conversation will center on the recent flooding and how your program was affected, services you provided and ways we can all better connect for challenges in the future. The NCF has recently announced funding opportunities for nonprofits who provided immediate assistance to flood victims through their organization. As always, there will be time to discuss current issues of importance to your program as well. The Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center, include address, has graciously offered to serve as the Round Table site as our board room is currently being used as the Disaster Recover Center. Register online as seating will be limited to 20 non-profit leaders.
One-on-One appointments are available Friday morning as well to meet with NCF representatives to use the Foundation Center Online, a subscription-based tool of the Community Foundation. Call the Greater Hammond Chamber at 985-345-4457 to reserve your appointment today.
