Northshore Media Group and the Tangipahoa Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Meet & Greet for key area races and a Candidate Forum for the City of Hammond mayoral and 21st Judicial District Attorney races on Wednesday, October 7, at the Southeastern Louisiana University Student Union Grand Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public, and voters are encouraged to attend. 

The evening begins with a Meet & Greet from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m., featuring candidates for several local, parish and federal races, including 21st Judicial District Attorney, Hammond Mayor, Hammond City Council, Tangipahoa Parish School Board, City Court of Hammond Marshal, 21st Judicial District Court Division E, U.S. Representative for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District and more. 

The Candidate Forum will begin at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Tangi 96.5 FM, streamed online at Tangi965.com and available through the TANGI965 app. Tangi 96.5’s Johnny Chauvin will serve as moderator.
