Special thanks to First Guaranty Bank for sponsoring our Installation and Awards Luncheon. United States Chamber of Commerce Chair of the Board of Directors, Maura Donahue, will speak to Tangipahoa Parish business leaders at the Thursday, January 9, 2020 Greater Hammond Chamber Installation Luncheon to be held at Southeastern Louisiana University's Student Union Ballroom.
The United States Chamber is the world's largest business federation. Maura previously served as chair in 2005-06, and is only the third person in the 100+ year history of the United States Chamber of Commerce to repeat as chair.
Maura is President and one of the owners of DonahueFavret Contractors Holding Company. She has been a key member of their team since joining DonahueFavret in 1981. Long an active leader in local chambers and economic development organizations, Maura will share insights into the important work our Chambers accomplish and topics of interest to our members and the United States Chamber of Commerce in the coming year.
The 11:30 a.m. event will also spotlight 2019 successes under the leadership of Chairman of the Board, Ginger Cangelosi with Tangipahoa Economic Development and focus on opportunities ahead for the 2020 year from Chairman of the Board, Rick Sedberry with Movement Mortgage.
"Installation is a great time for us to pause and thank the members who helped make great things happen for our Chamber and move forward into the 2020 with our new team!", said President and CEO, Melissa Bordelon. "We welcome all of our members and prospective members to make sure their business is represented at the table!"
Registration is now open for individuals and tables. Tickets are $35 and a table of eight (8) can be reserved for $430.
