DESCRIPTION:The opportunity to participate in Chamber committees is a benefit of membership in the Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce. Interested in serving on the Small Business Committee?  We will meet this Friday\, February 24th at 11:00 am at the Chamber of Commerce conference room.\n\n \n\nThis committee is fairly new and\, therefore\, allows us the opportunity to develop the goals\, resources\, and programming that we\, as small business owners/ decision makers in the Greater Hammond area\, need to support our businesses and the community.\n\n \n\nAt Friday's meeting\, we will discuss the creation of a Small Business Series that combines valuable information and real-life examples with targeted networking opportunities. The committee will assist in selecting the topics and the schedule for the Series\, as well as\, identify and recruit resource businesses applicable to each topic.\n\n \n\nAttached are a list of topic suggestions (Small Business Series). Please review the list and bring a few topic ideas of your own. Think about challenges you have faced in your small business and the local resources you used to manage those challenges. We will choose 10-12 and schedule them for the year.\n\n \n\nRegister for this meeting just like you would any other event.  This will help us plan accordingly.  Need more information?
