DESCRIPTION:Northshore Media Group and the Tangipahoa Chamber invite business leaders and the community to participate in Meet & Greet the Candidates and the Hammond Mayoral Forum on Monday\, October 3\, in the Southeastern Student Union Grand Ballroom.  The event is FREE and open to the public.\n\n\n\nThe Meet & Greet the Candidates portion of the event will take place from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. All candidates in contested races in Tangipahoa Parish have been invited to participate.\n\n\n\nTangipahoa Parish School Board Candidates and Hammond City Council Candidates will have the opportunity to greet the audience from the stage from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m.  The Hammond Mayor Forum will begin at 6:45 p.m. and run until 8:00 p.m. All candidates for Hammond Mayor have committed to be in attendance. The Mayor Forum will be broadcast live on Tangi 96.5 and Kajun 107.1.
