Reach us at 985-345-4457.\n\n\n\nJoin the Greater Hammond Chamber and Louisiana State Treasurer John Schroder to learn more about the Main Street Recovery Program\, understand the eligible expenses\, and learn about the timing of the application opportunity.  \n\n\n\nThe Main Street Recovery Program was established by Act 311 which set aside $300 million from the federal CARES Act.  Businesses can apply for up to $15\,000 to cover eligible expenses.  As noted on the Treasurer's website\, the eligibility requirements for businesses are:\n\n\n\nWere domiciled in Louisiana as of March 1\, 2020\n\nSuffered an interruption of business\n\nAt least 50% owned by one or more Louisiana residents\n\nFiled Louisiana taxes in 2018 or 2019 or will file taxes in 2020\n\nHad no more than 50 full-time employees as of March 1\, 2020\n\nHave customers or employees visit a physical location\n\nAre not part of a bigger business with more than 50 full-time workers\n\nDoes not exist for the purpose of advancing partisan political activity and does not directly lobby federal or state officials\n\nDoes not derive income from passive investments without active participation in business operations\n\n\n\nBe sure to register so we can make sure you have the information you need to help your business!
