SUMMARY:Small Business Express Kickoff
DESCRIPTION:The Greater Hammond Chamber loves driving business to our members. This Christmas we are doing an extra special push for our small retail store fronts through our "All Aboard the Small Business Express" program.  \n\n\n\nCommunity members will have a chance to win over $2\,500 in prizes by visiting 50 participating member businesses.  The shopping program kicks off November 25\, Small Business Saturday\, and runs through Monday\, December 18.  That is right!  You have 24 days to visit as many of our participating businesses as possible.  No purchase from the stores is necessary.  Our retailers just want the chance to have you visit their stores so they can show off the fabulous items they have to offer and help you pick out great gifts for the family and friends on your list.\n\n \n\nA railroad themed foldout map will spotlight 50 participating member businesses.  Community members will be able to purchase a map for $5 at the Greater Hammond Chamber office or on our webpage beginning November 20.  Cards purchased online will be mailed and/or dropped off based upon quantity purchased.  We encourage other member businesses to buy them for their staff and push Shop Chamber Shop Tangi keeping our shoppers in our local stores and our tax dollars in Tangipahoa parish.\n\n\n\nCard holders will visit participating businesses and then return their cards by Monday\, December 18 at 4:00 pm to the Greater Hammond Chamber for chances to win over 50 prizes valued at $50 each based upon the number of places they visited.  The drawing will be held Tuesday\, December 19.  Lucky winners will have time to share their prize as Christmas gifts or keep them for themselves!\n\n\n\nLook for member business videos on our Facebook page\, listen for them on Kajun 107.1 FM and visit their stores to purchase Christmas gifts!  \n\n\n\nVisit 25 or more stores to be entered in the drawing for one (1) $500 prize package.\n\nVisit 15 or more stores to be entered in the drawing for two (2) $250 prize packages.\n\nVisit 10 or more stores to be entered in the drawing for (3) three $100 prize packages.\n\nVisit 5 or more stores to be entered in the drawing for (24) twenty-four $50 prize packages.\n\n\n\nDrawings for the top level will be done first so non-winners will continue to have a chance to win at the lower levels as well.
