DESCRIPTION:High-fives\, handshakes and hugs!\n\nCan you join us to cheer on our teachers this Friday morning?\n\n \n\nWho will you send to cheer on our Tangipahoa Parish School System staff and teachers this Friday\, August 9 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Southeastern Louisiana University Center? Over 2\,800 teachers and support personnel will attend the Back to School Pep Rally with Superintendent Melissa Stilley.  Business leaders from across the parish will greet them outside as they make their way into the event\n\n \n\nBusiness leaders who can participate should register with the Greater Hammond Chamber  so we can plan accordingly.  We have arranged for everyone to park at The Event Center La Maison Celebrazione (1904 Nashville Avenue right off University Boulevard) and be shuttled by bus to the University Center.  Our shuttle will begin running at 7:00 a.m. with hopes of having all greeters welcome attendees from 7:30   8:30 a.m.\n\n \n\nWe encourage everyone to wear your company shirts and/or name badges.  Summer heat is still a challenge in the early morning so dress accordingly.  Thank you for giving this community spirit event every consideration.
