To help our businesses work safely and for the benefit of our community\, the Greater Hammond Chamber is proud to partner with Louisiana Department of Health\, Office of Public Health\, the Louisiana National Guard\, Tangipahoa Parish Government\, and Tangipahoa Economic Development to schedule FREE COVID-19 employee group testing this Monday\, June 29 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. by appointment. \; No walk up testing will be available.

\n\nThese test will take place at the Greater Hammond Chamber office at 400 NW Railroad Avenue in Hammond. \; The site will use a self-administered nasal swab test that will allow those being tested to swab their own nose\, observed by a trained medical volunteer to ensure the sample is taken correctly\, and drop the sealed sample into a container. \; All will be asked to wear a mask.

\n\nAs an outreach effort of the Greater Hammond Chamber\, our members will receive priority appointment scheduling and a limited number of test are available. \; One representative from each business should complete this online registration. \; \;A list of your employees to be tested will be requested before your appointment.

\n\nWhen registering your business you will be asked to have a business representative available during the entire scheduled time with your team\, the number of employees to be tested and the best time of day for your group to be scheduled. \; Employees must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Louisiana ID. The Greater Hammond Chamber will follow up via email to confirm available time\, instructions and provide pre-registration form to make testing efficient.
